Today, I went to “Gokujou Chuka Soba Fukumi” located in Tokyo Station and had their tsukemen (dipping noodles).

This place is in a commercial facility called KITTE, so be aware that it is in a different location from Ramen Street or Ramen Yokocho.

The restaurant is next to the very popular Tomita.

Since Tomita always has long lines, Fukumi tends to be easier to get into, so I highly recommend it.

Although the type of soup for the tsukemen is different, the quality is on par with Tomita. The tsukemen soup here is soy sauce-based and very rich.

While it is soy sauce-based, it doesn’t have an extreme saltiness. Instead, the balance of umami and acidity is just right.

The chashu (pork) inside also matches perfectly with the soup, making it delicious.

Compared to Tomita’s soup, this one has a bit more acidity and gives a refreshing impression.

The noodles are not the typical thick type often found in tsukemen, but rather thin noodles.

They aren’t particularly firm, but they go down smoothly and pair very well with the soy sauce-based soup.

If you opt for the special tsukemen, it comes with various types of chashu, allowing you to enjoy a balanced variety.

If you’re looking to eat soy sauce-based tsukemen, I recommend this place alongside Tomonoto in Tokai Shrine.

Being located in Tokyo Station, it’s very convenient for travelers.

I’ve also included a link to a review of Tomonoto below, so please check it out.
